McLane Evans joined Smolker, Bartlett, Loeb, Hinds & Thompson, PA on August 10, 2020 as an Associate with the Environmental and Land use law practice group.
McLane graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with a Juris Doctor in May of 2019. During law school, McLane participated in Environmental Moot Court, worked on environmental cases in the conservation clinic, and earned her Certificate in Environmental, Land Use, and Real Estate Law.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Evans worked as an environmental consultant specializing in project management, strategic planning, and technical permitting efforts for complex, large-scale land and water resource projects throughout Florida and the southeastern US. In that regard, McLane provided the highest level of professional services to a diverse client base from the public and private sector markets including private landowners, local and national developers, mining and energy companies, and government agencies. This extensive professional experience provides a unique perspective on navigating complex issues and achieving successful outcomes.
